Fear and loathing in a picture-perfect socialist metropolis

Long after my arrival home, I make my way to a photo lab. It only takes an hour to have the photos developed, but it took months to remember to drop off the canister. When I get back a stack of photos, I'm reminded why 35mm has its charm: you get to see your life in a beautiful grainy retrospect that can't be achieved in an instant.

In all honesty, I remember little more than how to focus a lens from my teenage photography classes. But I'm always pleased with what develops, anyways.
